Ofqual approved course. First Aid at Work refresher course for those who are currently qualified as a First Aider (FAW) and wish to continue as an approved First Aider for another 3 years. This course covers all aspects of basic life support along with a vast range of First Aid conditions.

A range of subjects are covered including: – 

• Legalities, responsibilities and reporting • Control of bleeding • Poisoning • Asthma • Dealing with an unresponsive casualty • Shock (including Anaphylaxis) • Bandaging • Diabetes • Fractures and spinal injuries • Heart attacks • Choking • Stroke • Resuscitation and AED awareness • Head injuries • Eye injuries • Burns • Assessment of the situation • Sprains and strains • Chest injuries • Epilepsy

This course can be tailored to suit your particular work environment thereby making it even more rewarding and relevant to participants.  Time will be spent practicing the important skills learnt, with scenarios relevant to your work environment included.
