Activity First Aid – FAA Level 3 Award (RQF) – 2 Days

A First Aid course designed for those who have an interest in outdoor activities. This course covers life threatening conditions including CPR, bleeding control, and choking.

This course is Specifically designed for those who are involved in any form of activity, including sports, leisure, and recreation. This very comprehensive course includes Basic Life Support as well as many other First Aid conditions. 

A range of subjects are covered including: – 

  • Responsibilities and reporting • Resuscitation • Angina • Assessment of the situation • Heart attacks • Choking • Dealing with an unresponsive casualty • Minor injuries • Seizures • Basic hygiene in First Aid • Bleeding control • Shock • Fractures • Head injuries • Asthma • Drowning injuries • Diabetes • Burns • Electrical injuries • Spinal injuries • Heat and cold

This course can be tailored to meet the needs of your workplace/work environment, whether that be sports and leisure, forest school or any other form of recreational pursuit. In addition, this course will be delivered by me, a PE teacher, Swimming Instructor and ex Technical Diving Instructor, who has lots of firsthand experience of injuries incurred during recreational activities.
